Description
sera Ammonia Test
For precise and easy measurement of the ammonium and ammonia level
- monitor the total concentration of ammonium (NH4+) and ammonia (NH3) in aquariums and garden ponds according to scientific standards
- indicates pollution peaks
- control the biological filter performance
- complete kit with vial, syringe, and evaluation chart for precise water analysis
- with a readily understandable video tutorial for easy use
Ammonium and ammonia are constantly released by fish through their gills and are part of the nitrogen cycle. While ammonium is harmless to animals, it can convert to ammonia, which is toxic to both fish and invertebrates, depending on the pH value.
The Ammonia Test reliably measures the total concentration of ammonium (NH4+) and ammonia (NH3) in the water. In conjunction with the pH value, it indicates the actual ammonia level. Thus, pollution peaks are identified, and the biological filter performance is made visible.
The complete kit includes a vial, a syringe, an evaluation chart, and a QR code to a readily understandable video tutorial, for easy use. Using the enclosed chart in combination with the measured pH value, you can determine the actual ammonia level.
Sufficient for 60 measurements.
Water tests for reliable water analysis
Regularly checking the water parameters in aquariums and ponds is the basis for creating optimal conditions for fish, shrimps, snails, and aquatic plants.
The sera water tests allow specific monitoring of the most important water parameters. Users can choose between the Quick Test and the precise drop tests, which provide particularly accurate results.
Because they are easy to use and produce reliable measurement results, changes in water can be recognized at an early stage. Thus, the tests help to prevent problems in time and ensure water quality in the long run – for a stable, healthy aquarium or biotope.
The products have a wide range of applications and, depending on the test, are suitable for freshwater aquariums, marine aquariums, garden ponds, and pools. They help to create and maintain optimal conditions for animals and plants as well as clear water.
